The Day After Tomorrow (2004)

Global warming can start from excessive consumption of fossil fuels. If this happens, the polar ice caps will begin to melt. When mass melting occurs, the formation of fresh water will also occur. Within a week, the entire population on Earth will be destroyed. This is exactly what the main character predicted at the beginning of the film.

Dr. Jack Hall was considered a famous paleoclimatologist. One day he arrived in Antarctica and after some time began to fear that global warming would happen. The end of everything was closer than he thought. The man was raising a son, whose name was Sam. The guy had friends and his girlfriend Laura. One day they all went to take part in a scientific competition in New York. However, they could not return home, the ice age began. Now it is up to the father, who is familiar with polar expeditions firsthand, to save his son.
